October has arrived on Florida’s Treasure Coast! While we may not have crisp fall temperatures and changing leaves, we have our own version of autumn—palm trees, waterfront sunsets, outdoor festivals, farmers markets, live music, and plenty of Halloween fun.

From Stuart and Jensen Beach to Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce, October is a great time to get outside, support local businesses, and explore everything Martin and St. Lucie Counties have to offer.

Celebrate Oktoberfest in Port St. Lucie 🍂

Kick off the month with a little Oktoberfest fun!

On Saturday, October 3, the MIDFLORIDA Event Center in Port St. Lucie is hosting Oktoberfest from 5:00–9:00 PM.

The evening is scheduled to feature German music, dancing, traditional foods like bratwurst, schnitzel and pretzels, and even a Wiener dog race.

It’s a fun way to bring a little traditional fall flavor to sunny South Florida.

Spend a Sunday at Market on Main

Sunday mornings are made for strolling through Downtown Stuart.

Market on Main, formerly the Downtown Stuart Green Market, takes place on Sundays and is a great opportunity to shop local while enjoying the charm of Downtown Stuart.

Browse local vendors, grab something to eat, enjoy the waterfront and make a morning—or an entire afternoon—of exploring downtown.

Enjoy River Nights in Port St. Lucie 🎶

Outdoor concert season returns in October!

River Nights kicks off on Thursday, October 8 from 5:30–8:30 PM at The Port District in Port St. Lucie.

This free community event features live music along with food and drinks available from food trucks.

Bring a chair or blanket, find a spot on the lawn and enjoy an evening outside.

Head to Jammin' Jensen

Thursday nights are a great excuse to head to Downtown Jensen Beach.

Jammin' Jensen is a year-round weekly tradition featuring local artists, vendors, shops, restaurants and entertainment.

Stroll through downtown, grab dinner and enjoy a laid-back Treasure Coast evening.

Shop the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers Market

Start your Saturday morning along the waterfront at the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers Market at Marina Square.

The weekly market runs Saturday mornings and features dozens of vendors offering produce, prepared foods, plants, spices and other locally sourced goodies.

Add breakfast or lunch at one of Downtown Fort Pierce's restaurants and you have an easy weekend outing.

Take a Walking Ghost Tour 👻

October wouldn't be complete without something spooky!

The Port St. Lucie Historical Society has a Walking Ghost Tour at the Port scheduled for October 15 at The Port District.

It’s a great option for families looking for Halloween weekend activities.

You really don't need a special event to enjoy October on the Treasure Coast.

Pick an evening and head to Stuart, Jensen Beach, Port St. Lucie or Fort Pierce for:
